This track is designed to show how System Center 2012 provides quota driven delegated access to resources, the management of application resources, and the setup and configuration of application performance monitoring. These resources are monitored and operated as services in a private cloud, with rich performance monitoring information, including deep code-level insights into how applications are performing, either in your private cloud or in Windows Azure.

CLIENT & DEVICE MANAGEMENT
Microsoft client solutions greatly simplify the deployment and management of corporate-owned physical and virtualized PCs as well as personal devices in corporate environments to enable the flexible workstyle of today’s users.

This track is designed to demonstrate how to plan, deploy and manage PCs and devices on Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8 or 9. Sessions will help you gain deeper insights into how desktop virtualization, cloud services, and HTML5 can address your evolving business and IT requirements. Session Formats

MMS offers the greatest depth of technical training available. This year's content will be presented in a number of different formats accommodating different learning styles and allowing various levels of interaction with experts at the event.

KEYNOTE SESSIONS Microsoft Executives share Microsoft’s latest initiatives and long term plans in the desktop and device management, datacenter, and private cloud space.
BREAKOUT SESSIONS These are 75 minute presentations by industry experts, typically with live demonstrations on a management product or technology. Speakers at these sessions may be Microsoft experts, Microsoft Partners or industry leaders.
INSTRUCTOR-LED LABS During Instructor-led labs (ILLs) an instructor provides an introduction to each lab topic and leads attendees step-by-step through the lab procedure for a specific topic. Places in all Instructor-led lab sessions may be reserved in advance though the MMS 2012 attendee web site “Session Scheduler” tool.
SELF-PACED LABS Self-paced hands-on labs offer walk-up access to all lab topics allowing you to complete your choice of lab topic in your own time. No lab instructor is present but Lab proctor support is provided in this area during session time-slots and the area remains open outside session times without proctor support.
SPEAKER Q&A SESSIONS On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all the speakers from that day’s breakout sessions are available for follow-up Q&A about the topics they presented that day. The informal format allows you to ask any questions arising from that day’s topics in a casual environment. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
CERTIFICATION EXAMS Get certified at MMS this year! Microsoft Certification enables you to keep your skills relevant, applicable, and competitive. In addition, Microsoft Certification is an industry standard that is recognized worldwide.
EXAM CRAMS & STUDY HALLS Exam crams and study halls help you prepare for taking a certification exam by serving up valuable practice exams, study resources, and Microsoft Certified Trainers onsite to assist you.
BIRDS-OF-A-FEATHER SESSIONS These informal sessions allow small groups of attendees to meet and discuss a topic of common interest peer-to-peer or with Microsoft or Industry experts. Bring your questions, your experiences and your curiosity to these gatherings moderated by Microsoft staff, Industry experts or your peers.
